The Agrozim App is an innovative Android application designed to provide comprehensive information on farming activities within Zimbabwe’s Agro-Ecological Zones (AEZs). Developed by Zingsa in collaboration with Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE), the app serves as a vital tool for farmers to access real-time climate data, seasonal forecasts, and advisory services tailored to specific regions.
The Agrozim App is based on the updated Agro-Ecological Zones (AEZs) of Zimbabwe, a project spearheaded by the Zimbabwe National Geospatial and Space Agency (ZINGSA) in collaboration with Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) and the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development.
The revision of Zimbabwe’s AEZs ensures that the app uses the most up-to-date scientific data to assist farmers in adapting to changing climatic conditions, thereby improving agricultural sustainability.
